Physical Education at Wensum Junior is valued for its unique contribution to developing children’s physical, social, interpersonal and emotional skills. It provides opportunities for children to be creative and competitive while learning to work with and respect others. We believe that every child should be active and form good habits by exercising regularly.
At Wensum Junior children we have adopted the GetSet4PE approach and by following this we are ensuring that our children are taught a wide range of sports and are developing their skills and expertise. We are working in partnership with Community Sports Foundation who are supporting our teachers. They are also running after school clubs and working with small groups of children to develop their self-esteem. We are members of the SSP and love to attend competitions and events organised by them.
